When Joan made her plans to go visit Japan she was asked by the Alvinus travel agency if she wanted to visit “Shokushu no shima”. She was promised pretty and isolated tropical beaches. Unfortunately for her (or maybe fortunately) she had no idea what the name of said place meant and tagged on a few days on said place. This actually reduced her price for some reason.

Joan was able to get the tourist photographer to turn her photo into a postcard to send to her friends back in Alvinus.

Joan ended up coming home more tired than before she left on vacation.
